Cancellation Policy

**Booking & Payment** A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to reserve your due date. The remaining balance must be paid **before your birth month begins**. My on-call period **does not begin until your account is paid in full**. **On-Call Coverage** I go on call **two weeks before your estimated due date** and remain available 24/7 until your baby arrives. **Communication** Please notify me at the **first signs of labor or your first contractions**, even if delivery seems far away. Your support person should keep me updated throughout labor. Scheduled inductions, cesareans, or changes to your birth plan must be communicated as soon as possible. **Long Labors** During lengthy labors or inductions, I may leave briefly to rest or eat while remaining in constant communication with your support person. I will return as labor progresses. **Arrival & Coverage** I photograph your birth in a documentary style, blending naturally into the room and allowing your story to unfold without direction. I stay through the birth and approximately one hour afterward to document your first moments together. **If I Miss the Birth** If labor progresses too quickly or I am not given enough notice to arrive before delivery, I will still come as soon as possible to document your immediate postpartum experience and provide a Fresh 48 session the following day whenever possible. **Medical Staff & Safety** Your medical team always comes first. Photography is subject to the approval of your physician, nurses, midwife, and hospital policies. If I am asked to stop photographing or leave the room, I will comply immediately. The health and safety of mother and baby will always take priority over photography. **Birth Transfers** If a birth requires hospital transfer, I will continue documenting your story as permitted by hospital staff and facility policies. **Additional Information** Birth photography is documentary in nature, and specific images or moments cannot be guaranteed. **Cancellation Policy** If you cancel your birth photography session, all payments made toward your session are non-refundable and will be forfeited. Refunds will only be considered in the event of a serious medical circumstance involving the mother or baby that prevents birth coverage. All other requests are at the sole discretion of All's Well Photography.
